Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the civil services result 2019 on its official website upsc.gov.in. UPSC has also released the merit list of candidates who have qualified in the UPSC CSE 2019 exam. The list has been released on the basis of written examination and personality test of Civil services examination 2019.
The candidates who appeared for the UPSC 2019 can download the UPSC provisional appointment list of candidates who have qualified the civil services 2019 exam online at upsc.gov.in.
A total of 829 candidates have been recommended for various posts of IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS etc. in order of merit for appointment to:
- Indian Administrative Service;
- Indian Foreign Service;
- Indian Police Service; and
- Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B
About UPSC 2019 Toppers
Pradeep Singh (Haryana) secured Rank 1 in IAS examination this year. Pratibha Verma (Uttar Pradesh) is the topper among women candidates.
Pradeep Singh’s father is a former village head. His initial education happened in Sonepat. He has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science) degree from Deen Bandhu Chhotu Ram University in Murthal. Currently he is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer at the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics in Faridabad.
Pratibha Verma from Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh has secured All India third rank in the civil services examination. Pratibha Verma is also a serving Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer. She took leave to prepare for the examination.
