First approach for freshers should be to complete the first reading of the syllabus as soon as possible with recall revisions. When you are reading your target should be on the learning and recall process.
- Shift 1 (2 hours): Your target for this shift today is to finish half of Laxmikanth Part-VII Constitutional Bodies. Read and reread the chapters first. Then make short notes of the chapter. Focus on the tables.
- Shift 2 (2 hours): Start with Spectrum Modern History Chapter 9: A General Survey of Socio-Cultural Reform Movements.This is a very very important chapter. Read and reread the chapter first. Then make short notes of the chapter.
Today is the last day of your first reading of Modern History. Revise entire short notes made by you or any backlog on Saturday and Sunday. From Monday we will be starting Geography in this slot.
- Shift 3 (2 hours): Today is the second day of your Current affairs monthly magazine, November 2020 4 days target. If you find it difficult to memorize the articles you can try writing while reading or making short notes.
- Shift 4 (2 hours): This is a daily revision slot. You must revise all the short notes made by you in this slot and try to recall it.

- Shift 1 (2 hours): Your target for this shift today and tomorrow is to Complete any backlog/ pending topics of Polity. If there is no backlog or you have time, then revise the topics through your notes which you find difficult. From Monday we will be starting with Indian Economy in this slot.
- Shift 2 (1 hour): You will be doing MAPPING of Major Plateaus of The World, Major Mountain Ranges of the World, Highest Mountain Peaks and other important geographical features in this slot today. You can refer to any of the following atlas for this- Oxford/ Orient Blackswan.
- Shift 3 (1 hour): Today is the second day of your Current affairs monthly magazine, November 2020 4 days target. If you find it difficult to memorize the articles you can try writing while reading or making short notes.
- Shift 4 (1:30 hours): As today is Saturday, working aspirants should use the time today to cover for the shortfall in study hours for the remaining weekdays. Thus, we have added a fourth slot for you today to cover CSAT. Your target for today is Averages. You can watch any video or consult any book for covering the basics of the topic today. Tomorrow we will be using the concepts and tricks you study today to solve as many questions as we can on the topic.
