First approach for freshers should be to complete the first reading of the syllabus as soon as possible with recall revisions. When you are reading your target should be on the learning and recall process.
- Shift 1 (2 hours): Your target for this shift today is to finish half of Laxmikanth Chapter 38 Panchayati Raj. This is a very very important chapter. Read and re-read the chapter first. Then make short notes of the chapter.
- Shift 2 (2 hours): Continue with Spectrum Modern History Chapter 3 Advent of the Europeans in India. Finish this chapter today. Read and reread the chapter first. Then make short notes of the chapter.
- Shift 3 (2 hours): Today is the second day of your 4 days of Current affairs monthly magazine, October 2020 target. If you find it difficult to memorize the articles you can try writing while reading or making short notes.
- Shift 4 (2 hours): This is a daily revision slot. You must revise all the short notes made by you in this slot and try to recall it.

- Shift 1 (2 hours): Start revising your Mains Optional. This slot will go on till 31st March, 2021 but students can leave or carry on with Optional as per their Prelims preparation.
- Shift 2 (2 hours): We are covering Indian Economy in this slot. Your target today is to complete National Income: GDP Calculation methods: GDP, GNP, NNP, Depreciation. Try to understand the basic concepts. You can refer to any standard book for covering this topic. Read and reread the chapter first. Then make short notes of the chapter.
