Page 1: Centre turns to SC as talks with farmers fail to break deadlock: The eighth round of talks between the Centre and the farmer unions, which saw raised voices and increased tensions, ended without any resolution to the ongoing stalemate over the repeal of the three farm reform laws. A ninth round of talks will be held on January 15, after the Supreme Court’s next hearing on the issue which is likely to be held on January 11.
